Sony announced many new features and confirmed highly anticipated titles before the Tokyo Game Show, including a few DLC announcements to show that the Playstation catalogue is still strong. Of course, Halloween will bring horror game surprises. Sony introduced all these features in its busy 30-minute State of Play.

The magnificent game of ghostly samurai and assassins ‘Ghost of Tsushima’ will have a sequel or spin-off set 300 years after the original and featuring a gender change for its protagonist, Atsu, a ronin who moves around Mount Yotei in 1603. The game will release in 2025, but there are no plans to add gameplay or world exploration features.

The game’s obvious Pokémon inspiration and Nintendo’s copyright lawsuit have made it one of the most talked-about games of the year for a few days. The key is that ‘Palworld’ is now on PS5 after a successful journey through Xbox and PC Game Pass, and that it maintains its signature Pokémon-style battles with firearms and player participation.

On October 31, we’ll get a remastered version of Aloy in a future world full of dantesque mechanical creatures. It’ll match the visuals of the first installment and its sequel. A chance to revisit the original adventure and a deal for game owners: the remastered version is 9.99 euros.

LEGO Horizon Adventures has a pre-order trailer and release date (November 14). LEGO-style gameplay with a Deluxe edition and exclusive Sackboy, Ratchet, and Rivet skins.

More news about the latest ‘Monster Hunter’ saga, which continues to reveal what we already know: more monsters, more complex scenarios, and atmospheric phenomena that will shape the game. The big news in this State of Play (since we know the game will be brutal) is February 28th next year.

The best news is that a Koei Tecmo musou is the same old thing, but better: avalanches of enemies to massacre thousands in a saga that doesn’t give up on the spectacular or feudal soap opera. This is a prequel to other ‘Dynasty Warriors’ and takes place next January 17th.

Two dragons face the heroes in this new Bioware RPG trailer. This four-minute video covers combat and RPG elements. Ten years have passed since the last installment, and mechanics have improved significantly. October 31st is approaching.

‘Astrobot’ is one of Playstation’s best games in years, so this free DLC sounds like heaven: 5 speedrun levels, 10 new bots to rescue, and all the adorable humour we’ve come to expect, with nods to recent games like ‘Stellar Blade’ and ‘Helldivers’. Autumn 2024 will bring it.

A classic from the first Playstations returns in a remastered version with all its old-school gameplay intact but improved scenarios and enemies: puzzles, exploration, combat, and sinister pop. The game will release on December 10, 25 years after its original release.
