Video game AI is coming

The use of artificial intelligence into gaming graphics is unavoidable; the question is who will be the pioneer in this area.

In the one and only trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI that has been shown thus far, one of the most astounding things that can be seen is the level of detail and hyperrealistic graphics that are present in sequences that, in many instances, look to be gameplay. The illusion that the graphics in the video are more or less real gameplay powered by the RAGE engine continues to exist, despite the fact that we are all prepared for a downgrade in the final product that exposes that, in reality, they were all cinematics.
